Duke Lutherans are blessed by the
support and love of the entire St. Paul's community. However,
certain individuals play a particularly important role in this diverse
ministry.

As
Pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, I am
thrilled with the ministry of Duke Lutherans. Our congregation is ready
to
support you in many ways including worship, fellowship, and mission. With our Chaplain and Vicar, I join them in
serving you. St. Paul’s family also
offers you a home away from home, not only in worship, but also in our
family-partnering/adoption program.
Consider yourself a part of the community of faith at St. Paul’s
and
Duke Lutherans during your educational years at Duke.
God’s blessings and peace as you continue to
pursue your intended vocation. If you
need pastoral care or a pastoral help or conversation, please contact
me.

Greetings! I am Vicar Andrew from St. Paul's Lutheran Church. I specifically work with the undergraduate Duke Lutherans and serve as both a spiritual leader for students—leading Bible studies, retreats etc—as a well as a liaison for St. Paul's Lutheran Church. I want to encourage anyone and everyone to come by our space in the chapel for conversation, study, worship, as well as laughs, food and chocolate. I look forward to meeting you and sharing our real and ongoing faith stories. Please feel free to contact by phone or email.

Having been called by St. Paul's as a Diaconnal Minister to
serve as Duke Lutheran Chaplain, I focus on graduate and professional
students, as well as service opportunities and communications.
Nevertheless, I find great joy in interacting with all of the Duke
Lutherans, sharing their faith journeys from adolesence into full
adulthood. From the good times and giggles to the quieter moments
of doubt and faith, fear and confidence, it is a blessing to me to
share those journeys, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, perhaps to
touch a few lives.
